Harrison rarely naps anymore. This is on the way home from Morgan's birthday party today and he was wiped out. But notice that he doesn't let go of his gun while he sleeps.

So long summer

Sadly, I know summer is over because it rained all day yesterday. It was also raining again this morning so I decided to finally wear my new rainboots. And alas, the sun is trying to shine through now. Oh well. My boots are still pretty cute. (thanks Dave and Harrison!)

It's hard to believe it's been two months since I've posted anything. I honestly don't know where the summer went. We did a lot yet I can hardly remember what we did. I am going to try to post some fun summer photos so you can see where we've been (and maybe it will help me to remember the summer that flew by!).

We had Harrison's friend, Owen, over recently. They had lots of fun painting our new box fort.

This is how I found them after leaving them unattended for a short time. I popped them full of sugar and let them get naked and run through the sprinkler to clean off.

Love affair

I am having a full blown love affair with my new vacuum. Oh how I love my clean floors. As you can see from my big smile below I am very, very happy. As for the rest of my head... well, my photographer hasn't quite gotten the hang of the camera yet. (it actually looks like a lot of my childhood photos that my mom took - once I can find some I'll post them here for comparison)

I did it!

For those of you wondering where I've been.... see below. I finally took the real estate salesperson exam! It has been a longer process than I anticipated but I did it and it feels good. Unfortunately, it took me so long that now Redfin is not currently hiring. I am fine with waiting. I have my inactive license and I'm ready to go when a spot opens up.
